I’ll start this review off with saying first impression of the shifter is great, great craftsmanship and well made, with that said, scanned the QR code provided on the card for install instructions, none to be found for Toyota, I had already watched the install vid before I received my shifter so no biggie and I’m a Toyota master tech, no Allen key was provided as stated in the vid, again no biggie I have tools, when installing the shifter the long Allen bolt that secures the reverse lock out is a size I guess doesn’t exist so I used a torx to tighten it, after install and making sure it shifted through all the gears correctly it’s hard to get into reverse given I used my oem shift knob which does not have a lock nut to adjust the knob height, with the oem knob tightened down the reverse lock out does not slide up enough for easy engagement of reverse, I also noticed the trim around my shifter would not sit fully down in the clips because there is a stopper for the trim attached to the shifter assy, so I trimmed down the stopper to allow the shifter trim to sit properly on the console, all in all I do like the operation of the shifter makes shifts feel very short and notchy which is great, but I think some extra steps and refinements can be made
